Questions

How much meat does one box make?
1 kg. The box has 2 sachets of 40 g, and each sachet is for 500 g of red meat.
Why is the sachet used in two parts?
Half (20 g) goes into the pressure cooker so the masala cooks into the meat. The other half goes in with the onions and coconut at the end, for the roasted ularthu flavour.
What do I need to add?
Red meat, onion, coconut chunks and curry leaves. Ginger, garlic, salt and all the spices are already in the masala.
Can I use mutton?
Yes. Mutton works the same way: pressure-cook it with half the sachet till tender, then follow the same steps.
How spicy is it?
Spicy, with a deep roasted pepper flavour.
